In “Transportation of Spent Nuclear Fuel and High-Level Radioactive Waste to a Repository-Factsheet”, the state of Nevada writes about the uncertainties that involve with transporting nuclear waste. Also they write about how 43 states will be affected and the unresolved safety issues that come to mind when thinking on how to transport the nuclear waste.  In “Winners, Losers, and the Nuclear-Waste Dilemma”, by Marry Riddel and Keith Schwer they write about the possible effects to those who are in the surrounded area. Both of these writers make the connection of the fears of the affects. These two articles both stay on the same path, until Riddel and Schwer go in depth about property and how the government has control over land. While in the fact sheet made by the state of Nevada talk about transporting the waste through rail ways and how much money goes into making the rail ways. As the government makes railways for transporting waste, they are also still making more waste, which plays another factor for the people who will be affected by the outcome. This source will be extremely helpful when writing my research paper because it brings up important ideas that reflect on what my topic is about. I will have enough research to make a strong opinion on transporting nuclear waste.
